Getting Your Google Analytics Tracking ID

In order to have Google Analytics set up on your site, you need your tracking ID for the property. To find this, you need to log into Google Analytics.

Real time section of Google Analytics

Go to the “Admin” section which you can find in the lower left side after you are logged in.

Save the Analytics Buddy settings. Once you have saved the settings, you should begin to see your visitors within Google Analytics.

If you have any caching, you may have to “flush” or “purge” the cache.

To verify everything is working, go to the “Real Time” section in Google Analytics and browse your own site to ensure you are being collected. If you are excluding logged in users, you may have to log out or use a different browser to see yourself in Google Analytics.
